Hi, I'm Tala! My role is the Director of Sponsorship, which entails finding sponsors for the CéTSC. I'm in third year at Telfer and I specialize in Management Information Systems and Analytics (MISA). I'm fluent in Arabic and English, and I have an intermediate level of French. My passions include language and culture, women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and human rights overall. Fourth year Finance student who has been on the CeTSC for three consecutive years. Avid traveler who has visited nearly 20 countries and who has studied at universities in three different countries. Currently works as a junior analyst at Infrastructure Canada. I am the Director of Digital Marketing and Graphic Design, currently studying Finance. Marketing is determining the value that you provide and then conveying that information to customers. With an overabundance of information, there is an ever-growing need to search through the haystack and find the needle. My goal this year is to facilitate the search for valuable information for Telfer's students. I'm currently a second year student in the Bcom/JD program at Telfer and it's also my first year working with CéTSC. In my first year on council I'm hoping to help our executive team make your Telfer experience some of the best years. I am one of your Media Directors, aka the person looking to capture all the amazing things that go on thanks to CÉTSC. I am currently going into my second year of International Management, a program that allows me to do an exchange at one of uOttawa's many international partnering schools. I am currently fluent in both English and French but for my program I have to learn a new language, which will most likely be Italian! I am one of the two members responsible for Member Development within the CéTSC. I am currently going into my second year in the JD (Juris Doctor) program, a 6 year joint business undergraduate and law graduate degree. I am currently fluent in 3 languages: English, French, and Serbian, but I am also taking classes to learn Spanish. I am Director of Finance on this year’s CÉTSC. I am a second year French Immersion student specializing in Accounting, with hopes of one day obtaining my CPA designation. During my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and trying out new recipes. I am the Director of Technology for CéTSC, currently studying for my Bachelor of Commerce, option Management Information Systems and Analytics. I am passionate about finding innovative ways to build a bridge between business and information technology (IT) to enhance organizational performance, along with also learning new languages, including sign language (ASL). As I enter my 3rd year in marketing at the Telfer School of Management, I wanted to be more involved within the Telfer community. That’s why I decided to get involved with this great team as the Director of Public Relations. My goal is to help foster the academic experience of all Telfer students and ensure communication with both English and French student is consistent and fair. I’m also a member of a choir and I like taking part in activities held by the African diaspora in Ottawa.
